Purchase credits
How PMM Sherpa credits work, pricing, and how to buy.
PMM Sherpa runs on a credit system. One query (any of the four tools, any client) costs 2 credits. Credits cover the LLM tokens, the agentic RAG retrieval across 38,000+ chunks, and any web research the advisor pulls in.

- Free resets to 10 credits on the first of each month.
- Starter resets to 200 credits on the first of each month.
- Topup credits never expire. They sit on top of your monthly allowance and are spent only after the monthly allowance runs out.
- Credits never carry over from month to month on Free or Starter. Topups roll over indefinitely.
How a query is metered#

If a tool fails (timeout, infrastructure error), credits are refunded automatically.
How to buy credits#
In the web app:
- Open pmmsherpa.com and sign in.
- Click your avatar (top right) → Settings → Billing.
- Click Buy credits and pick a topup pack ($5, $19, or $39).
- Stripe Checkout opens. Pay with card. Credits land on your account in seconds.
You can also upgrade Free → Starter from the same page. The first monthly allowance is granted immediately on upgrade.
Where credits apply#
Credits are tied to your PMM Sherpa account, not the client. Whether you are calling tools from Claude.ai, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Antigravity, the same credit balance is debited.
Troubleshooting#
- "Out of credits" error during a tool call: open the in-product modal at pmmsherpa.com and buy a topup. The next tool call succeeds without restarting your AI client.
- Receipt not received: check spam, then contact support. Stripe receipts come from
stripe.com. - Refund: if a tool call fails, credits are refunded automatically. If you need a payment refund, email support.
